About the studio

Made for people who look twice at old houses.

Rook & Rafter Studio publishes colouring books and printable collections centred on historic domestic architecture.

Why architecture?

A house offers more than a façade. Its windows reveal proportion, its roof shows climate and craft, and its smallest details often carry the clearest trace of the people who built it. Our collections slow that looking down.

Each volume focuses on a recognisable architectural tradition rather than mixing unrelated buildings into a generic assortment.

How the collections are made

Every set is planned around a specific period, building type or atmosphere. Pages are reviewed for architectural coherence, clean printable lines and enough open space to colour comfortably.

Rook & Rafter Studio is an independent publishing imprint based in Sydney, Australia.
